As a joint private-public non-profit research consortium specialising in agrifood research management, Tecnoalimenti S.C.p.A. is composed of 28 agrifood sector industries and one financial institution, trustee of Italian Ministry of University and Research funds.

Established in 1981 for promoting, co-ordinating and carrying out industrial research, it boasts a record of more than 250 successful research projects and several patents. Thanks to the passion of 12 qualified research managers, Tecnoalimenti has acquired a high level of professional skills in project set-up and research management and has become the leader in this sector.

Tecnoalimenti’s activities reach across the whole scientific innovation chain, from scientific idea generation to the technology transfer of project results. Therefore it works as “porteur de projet” for the agrifood sector, bridging the interdisciplinary gap between the different expertise and so ensuring a consolidated project strategy.

Our activities are:

  • creation of innovative project ideas, project strategies and future vision
  • identification of the necessary know-how and specific skills
  • set up of the project partnership
  • set up of successful research proposals and submission to National and European funding
  • management of multidisciplinary Research Consortia
  • dissemination and promotion of project results and management of IPR.
  • support to the technology transfer activities

Tecnoalimenti is active within the entire European Union. It’s headquarters are located in Milan, Italy. Regional office are located in Naples.
